Print directly from your smartphone or tablet through WiFi, Bluetooth, or USB without the need for a computer. Mobile scanning is also available for certain multifunction printers.

Please note: The PrintHand app is not free. To print actual pages, you must upgrade to Premium Mode by making an in-app purchase. We recommend printing a free test page before upgrading.

Unfortunately, due to an update to the Permissions policy on Google Play, we had to remove the SMS and Call log printing features from our app. We understand the inconvenience caused and are actively working on resolving this issue. Please stay tuned for app updates. Once we obtain the necessary Messages and Call log permissions from Google, we plan to reintroduce these features to the app.

With PrintHand, you can print the following content:

• Office documents, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF files
• Text files and other popular file types
• Photos and images
• Web pages, emails, and attachments
• Google Drive content
• Events from the Calendar app
• Contacts
• Facebook albums
• Files from Dropbox, Box, OneDrive, Creative Cloud, and SugarSync
• Notes from Evernote
• Content shared from other apps

You can print to Mac or Windows shared printers as well as Workgroup, Domain, and Active Directory printers. You can also print directly via USB cable from Android 4.0 and above. Additionally, you have the option to share the printer with our free software for Mac and PC from printhand.com and print to any printer that can be accessed from a computer.

You can print via:

• Wi-Fi (using a Wi-Fi Direct printer or a Wi-Fi router as an intermediary)
• Bluetooth
• USB, if USB OTG is fully supported by your device and it has Android 4.0+ installed. Please note that some mobile devices may have issues communicating with a printer even if USB Host mode is supported, due to specific electrical design of the USB port. In such cases, the app is unlikely to work properly.
• PC or Mac, if your printer is shared using PrintHand desktop client or the standard tools of your computer's operating system

Before proceeding, please ensure that your printer is supported.

Our Printer Setup Wizard will automatically detect your printers and guide you through the configuration process if necessary. In just a few clicks, you'll be ready to print.

You can now scan documents directly from select multifunction printers to your device. This feature is currently in beta mode. Please contact support@printhand.com for more details. A list of supported devices can be found at Supported Scanners.

You can try printing a test page in our free app, but for unlimited printing, you will need to purchase the premium app or make an in-app purchase within the free app.
